Our Position on Copyright
GrabReels respects the intellectual property rights of all creators and copyright holders. We are committed to complying with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and equivalent copyright laws in other jurisdictions.
GrabReels does not host, store, or distribute any Instagram content. Our Service acts as a technical pass-through that retrieves publicly accessible media from Instagram's own servers on behalf of the user who submits a link. All content remains hosted on Instagram's infrastructure and is subject to Instagram's own Terms of Service and copyright policies.
All copyright, ownership, and intellectual property rights to any downloaded content remain with the original creators and rights holders at all times.
How to Submit a DMCA Takedown Notice
If you believe that our Service is being used to infringe your copyright, you may submit a written DMCA takedown notice to our designated agent. Your notice must include the following elements as required by 17 U.S.C. Β§ 512(c)(3):
- Identification of the copyrighted work β A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed (e.g., "my Instagram Reel posted on [date] at [URL]").
- Identification of the infringing material β The specific URL(s) or description of where the alleged infringing activity is occurring on our Service.
- Your contact information β Your full legal name, mailing address, email address, and telephone number.
- Good faith statement β A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- Accuracy statement β A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
- Physical or electronic signature β Your physical or electronic signature.
Incomplete notices may not be acted upon. False DMCA claims may expose you to legal liability.

Repeat Infringers
In accordance with the DMCA and other applicable laws, GrabReels maintains a policy of terminating access for users who are determined to be repeat infringers of intellectual property rights.
Note on Instagram Content
Since GrabReels only facilitates access to publicly available Instagram content and does not store any media on our servers, the most direct and effective way to remove content from public availability is to:
- Delete or set the Instagram post to private on your Instagram account
- Report the content to Instagram directly through their copyright report form
Once content is removed from Instagram's servers, it will no longer be accessible through GrabReels.
